OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT
The brand Kate Spade, based in New York City, has requested the development of a summer capsule collection, including print development. Among the proposals presented, the winning direction was the one inspired by the 1950s: bon ton, feminine, with fruit as its strong recurring theme. The selection process involved the choice of colours, materials and shapes in order to bring diversity to the project.
Project timelines
The project has taken three weeks from the first brief: the selection of the moodboard among the four proposed required one week, and the remaining two covered the creation of the technical flats and the decision of which print to apply to which style. The collection was then developed in five sizes, from XS to XL.
